This year’s Dine for a Cause community gathering enjoyed learning from author and farmer, Anthony Flaccavento, from his wide and long experience in land care and community well-being.

The evening’s dialogue was recorded, and we’ll offer it to you here in installments over the coming months, so check back from time to time.

Listen here to the six-minute response to Woody Crenshaw’s question: “in your view, what is a healthy economy and how do we move toward that?”

The event was attended by some 80 area residents who enjoyed a rice and beans (free) dinner and great conversation, and was also able to purchase Anthony’s recently-published book, Building a Healthy Economy from the Bottom Up: Harnessing Real-World Experience for Transformative Change.
