Floyd Energy Fair July 15, 2017

Floyd Energy Fair ~ Update!

One especially interesting feature of the 2017 Floyd Energy Fair will be a guided bus tour of Apple Ridge Farm in Floyd County, showcasing its new off-grid classroom, EBase USA: Blue Ridge.

The EBase is a sustainable green building constructed from post-consumer recycled and renewable materials. The EBase is powered completely with wind and solar energy: 18 solar batteries and one wind turbine.

SustainFloyd and Apple Ridge Farm are hoping to electrify adults and children with fascinating exhibits and fun at the first annual Floyd Energy Fair at Chantilly Farm on Saturday, July 15 from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Energy Fair will be held rain or shine. Admission will be $5 per family and $3 for individuals, and tickets will be sold at the door. Let us know if you plan on coming! Click on the button below to RSVP on our Facebook event page.
