“This is a fascinating movie, which we hope will start a good discussion about healthy eating,” says SustainFloyd Director Mike Burton.
All are invited to this community screening, the latest documentary in SustainFloyd’s popular 2012 Winter Film Series.  A distinguished panel will take questions after the film.  Speakers will include Dr. David Lander, MD, who is board certified in internal and emergency medicine and practices in Blacksburg, VA; Katherine Chantal, Herbalist and a manager of the Harvest Moon Food Store in Floyd; and Jason Redinbo, Clinical Director of The Blue Ridge Center for Chinese Medicine in Floyd.

The next documentary in the popular 2012 SF Winter Film Series will be “Mother Nature’s Child” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24th at the Floyd Country Store.  During an era when our children spend much of their lives inside, this film looks at the importance of the outdoors and a child’s relationship with the natural world.
